Our client is a leading company in the steel industry across multiple African markets and required support in strengthening their performance management process, resulting in developing performance contracts for multiple layers of employees.

Solution

  • We co-developed a standard scorecard approach with key fields and measures.
  • An on-site visit to one of the plans in Mali was key in understanding the business better at a more practical level.
  • Multiple engagements supported by desktop research resulted in the design of scorecards at various levels.
  • Drafts were provided for review, and one-on-one meetings resulted in the refinement of the drafts.
  • The final scorecards were signed off at the end of the project.
