ANTOINETTE DEHRMANN is a joint founding member of the Human Resources Consulting firm, Africa People Advisory Group – South Africa, which provides a broad range of Human Resources Consulting and Product solutions to clients across sub-Saharan Africa.

Antoinette Dehrmann is a Lead Management Consultant advising businesses across the Human Capital Value Chain in various industries across South Africa.  Her passion for Human Capital is equally matched by her 15 years’ consulting experience as a true all-rounder.  She was previously the Manager of the Share Scheme’s Department at Human Capital Advisory, Sult of the EOH Group of Companies.  Her leadership role included accountability for project management, risk mitigation, business development, operational effectiveness, client relations and Financial Performance.  She has worked with a range of public and private sector clients across various industries including but not limited to Exxaro, Anglo American – Kumba Iron ore, Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), Iemas Financial Services, MacSteel, African Rainbow Minerals, ArcelorMittal, Harmony Gold, Omnia Holdings, University of Pretoria, NHBRC.  

Antoinette is a knowledgable and experienced HR Professionl with a confident approach.  She offers a wide understaning of the total Human Capital Value Chain.  She is skilled in Reward and Talent Management, with particular emphasis on performance management, job analysis, job evaluation, data analytics and general reward practices including benchmarking, modelling, and drafting of Remco documents. Antoinette is driven by strong determination and perseverance which roots a quick adaptation to any organisational and social situation and structure.  Her passion is to identify, advise and develop business orientated solutions in Human Capital to support and realise business strategy while impacting business bottom line. 

Antoinette holds an Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) in Human Resource Management from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She is certified through WorldAtWork in the USA, as a Global Remuneration Professional and holds the Professional Designation of Reward specialist through the South African Reward Association (SARA).

JANENE SCHWARTZ is a joint founding member of the Human Resources Consulting firm, Africa People Advisory Group – South Africa, which provides a broad range of Human Resources Consulting and Product solutions to clients across sub-Saharan Africa.

Janene is an experienced Lead Consultant and Industrial Psychologist with a demonstrated history of working in Human Capital consulting across various industries. She is skilled in Reward and Talent management with a particular emphasis on people analytics, psychometric assessments, succession planning, culture and engagement surveys and general reward practices including strategy, job analysis, benchmarking and modelling.

She was previously the Head of Talent at Human Capital Advisory, Sult of the EOH Group of Companies. Her leadership role included accountability for business strategy, business development, project management and client relations  She has worked with a range of public and private sector clients including but not limited to: Anglo American – Kumba Iron ore; ABSA; Exxaro; Airports Company South Africa (ACSA); African Rainbow Minerals; South African Weather Service; Gibb; Reckitt Benckiser: DPSA: NHBRC: City of Tshwane: Transnet: Zizwe Mining; RAF and Iemas Financial services. Janene is also an accredited user of a wide range of assessment and reward products in South-Africa.

Her passion has always been to analyse the integration of people, processes and systems for improved productivity & cost-effectiveness across the value chain.

Janene holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) and master’s degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She is a registered Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA. She is certified through WorldAtWork in the USA, as a Global Remuneration Professional and holds the Professional Designation of Chartered Reward Specialist through the South African Reward Association (SARA).

DEON DE SWARDT is a joint founding member of Human Resources Consulting firm, Africa People Advisory Group, which provides a broad range of Human Resources Consulting and Product solutions to clients across sub-Saharan Africa.

Deon was previously employed as a Principal Consultant in the Career business in Mercer South Africa, a leading HR Consulting firm globally. With over 15 years of HR experience, he joined Mercer in 2015 where he headed up the Business Development function for Mercer Africa. His role also extended into the setting up of and management of strategic partnerships with strategically placed firms across key markets in Africa. These relationships extend into local consulting firms and professional, associations. Furthermore he lead a team of Business Development Managers to engage clients across Africa. He also appeared on various Television News inserts and published various articles during his tenure.

Prior to joining Mercer, Deon spent 21 years working in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was the HR Head for HR delivery for a large insurance company in Johannesburg. In this role all HR delivery functions (HR Management, Operations and Learning) reported into him. He was also accountable for the integration of various HR functions at the time.

Earlier, he spent five years as the HR Executive in Africa for a leading financial services organisation in Cape Town. In this role he was accountable for the full HR function across seven African markets. His accountability entailed setting up the three year HR strategy and then driving tactical and operational execution of the strategy. His insight into the African market developed during this period of time, He has traveled to various African markers on a regular basis and has spent significant time on the ground learning more about the opportunities and challenges.

Deon holds a master’s degree (cum laude) in HR Management from the University of Pretoria.

NICOLAS CONSTANTINIDES is a joint founding member of Human Resources Consulting firm, Africa People Advisory Group.

Nicolas is a reward, compensation and benefits professional with 8 years’ experience. Travelling and partnering with clients in more than 25 African markets with a specific focus on Rewards has provided him with extensive local knowledge and insight into Total Rewards practices and trends in the Region. He has a keen sense of detail and analytically inclined but at the same time operationally effective. Passion for problem solving with a focus on clients, contributing to reaching their goals and ensuring stakeholder’s expectations are met. He was the Lead for the Career Products business across Sub-Sahara Africa for Mercer, driving the development and delivery of workforce products

His experience includes compensation and benefits benchmarking, salary scale and customize tool design, executive recommendations, job evaluation, general consulting and more. Throughout his salary survey experience Nicolas has been experienced in working with numerous Multinational clients across industries including Energy and Mining, Logistics, Consumer Goods, Financial Services and Medical Life sciences, helping clients to attract and retain top talent through their reward structures

Nicolas holds a bachelors degree, specializing in Economics from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He holds the professionalization of a Rewards Analyst from the South Africa Rewards Association (SARA) and holds a Global Remuneration Professional qualification as accredited by WorldatWork.

NICOL MULLINS

At heart, Nicol is an entrepreneur.  He has a passion for people, admires the magic of numbers and shares a love for the African continent.  His love for Africa laid the foundations for his career, travelling to more than 35 countries and working in more than 40.  Across the world, he has served as a trusted advisor to leading multinationals, local and pan African organisations.  Globally he has worked in more than 100 countries providing insight to C-Suite on remuneration trends, practices and reward structuring.  Combining his passion for people, culture, leadership, strategy and economics in his craft.

He has a drive to assist organisations in driving long-term business success through their people strategy.  Success not just measured through financial growth and metrics, but long-term holistic growth with a focus on people.  Nicol believes that people should be placed at the heart of any business.  Businesses don’t do business, people do, he believes that umntu ngumntu ngabantu.

Nicol values Totto Wolff’s motto on driving team culture, “See it, say it, fix it”.  Nicol strives to foster a no-blame, growth mindset culture where attacking the problem and not the person is essential.  He sees his role as a leader to create an environment where people are inspired to go to work, feel safe while at work and leave feeling fulfilled; inspiration drawn from Simon Sinek.  Through fostering such an environment, he believes employees can be fully engaged.

Nicol Mullins is a Managing Partner at Africa People Advisory Group, an advisory firm that is driven to unlock business growth through people insights.

TINODAISHE MANDEBVU is an Associate Consultant at Africa People Advisory Group.

Tinodaishe is a business advisor with experience in strategic planning, project management, economic research, data analytics, business development and client relationship management. She is a  management consulting professional for 4 years’ experience. She has a knack for developing complex models for organisations in order to solve their problems. She has a keen interest in the future of work, particularly the transformation of organisations in African markets through digital tools. 

Her experience includes market research and strategy design across sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, insurance and public sector.  Tino, has previously worked for US Bank – Home Mortgage department in Minneapolis (MN,USA) prior to launching her Management Consulting career.

Tinodaishe holds a Bachelor’s of Science (Honours), in Economics from St. Catherine University in Minnesota, United States of America. She is a qualified member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honours Society, in the USA. She serves as a Global Shaper – A World Economic Forum initiative, in order to drive positive change at a community level.
